LakeSide HOA has recreational opportunities such as a community center, pool, tot lots, and tennis and basketball courts.It is minutes away from Potomac Mills and I95.

Community Center
LakeSide's Clubhouse has a view that looks out over the Community's pool and beautiful lake. The upper level houses the Association's site office and a community room that is available for meetings and gatherings by reservation to any of the Association's members. This room has a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace and on the ouside is a deck for casual socializing. The lower level has the the showers and changing rooms along with storage and other pool service support areas.

Tennis and Basketball Courts
LakeSide has two regulation size tennis courts and three full size basketball courts that are accessible from the Community Center and the street.

Fishing
LakeSide's community lake supports a variety of fish for your sporting pleasure. You may only fish from the banks of the lake, the Association does not allow boating or swimming.

Pools
There is one adult pool and one kiddy pool. Surrounding the pool are areas with tables and chairs for lounging, eating and visiting with friends and neighbors. From the pool you can gaze down on the Community's beautiful lake.

Tot Lots
LakeSide offers two large tot lots. One is located next to the Community Center and one is bordered by Madrigal Drive and Caloosa Way.

COMMUTING

  • Express bus service to the Pentagonand Washington, DC is at VDOT Commuter Lot on Old Bridge Rd /Minnieville Rd
  • Local buses run regulary throughout the neighborhood as well as other areas of Prince William County.
  • Carpools -  usually meet at the VDOT Commuter Lots
  • Slugging is a result of the need to use HOV lanes on I-95/395 as much as possible. Commuters form a line at a designated Slug Line Stop in Woodbridge- the VDOT Commuter Lot on Old Bridge/Minnieville Rd. A driver will pull up to the line headed for the Pentagon, but needs one more passenger to qualify for HOV-3. The first person in line going to the Pentagon will join the others in the car and away they go. It's free commuting for the slugger and gives the driver availability to HOV lanes on I-95 - A much faster option for all!!
  • Train The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Woodbridge Station with rail service to Springfield, Crystal City and Union Station in Washington, DC is approximately a 20 minute drive . At Springfield you can switch to Metrorail that gives you access to the entire National Capital Area subway system.
  • MCB Quantico is less than 20 minutes by car
  • Fort Belvoiris approximately 25 minutes by car
